Lecture on Pulsed Electroacoustic Technique for measuring charge trapped in materials organized at GNDU
Amritsar, May 01: A special lecture on “Pulsed Electroacoustic Technique for measuring charge trapped in materials” was organized by the Electronics Technoloy Department of the Guru Nanak Dev University. This lecture was organized as a part of a series of faculty and research scholars development programme. A large number of Students and faculty were present.
Dr. C.C. Reddy, an eminent scientist and senior faculty from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Ropar delivered this lecture. He delivered a well-decorated lecture along with a prolonged interactive session with the faculty and research fellows of the department. The audience got a well-documented answer to all their queries.
Earlier, Dr. Ravinder Singh Sawhney, Head of Department welcomed the guest speaker and introduced him to the students. He said that Dr. Reddy has worked with Multinational companies in India and abroad before joining IIT Ropar. His areas of research are the mechanism of conduction and breakdown in Dielectrics, Space charges in Dielectrics, Nanocomposite dielectrics and signal processing in High Voltage Engineering.
Dr. Ravinder Singh Sawhney, Head of Department, Dr. Sukhleen Bindra, Dr. Shalini Bahel and other faculty presented a memento to Dr. Reddy as a token of love. Dr. Reddy appreciated the faculty for carrying quality research along with academic activities for playing a constructive role in the overall development of professional education in this region for all UG/PG and doctoral candidates.
