SSEC School Celebrated Vaisakhi festival

Jandiala Guru 12 April Varinder Singh: The festival of Vaisakhi was celebrated with full zest and in a joyful way at St. Soldier Elite Convent School, Jandiala Guru on April 12, 2019. All the teachers and the students had worn the dressed presenting our Punjabi culture. First of all the Managing Director S. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri and  Principal Mrs. Amarpreet Kaur were welcomed as the chief guests of the day. The first presentation was the ramp walk by little tiny tots of Playpen, 1st  and 2nd class who had worn typical dresses related to the Punjabi culture.
The winner students were honoured with the tags of Mr. Punjab, Miss Punjaban, Mr. Gabhru, Miss Mutiyar, Mr. Singh. Miss Kaur, Jatt and Jatti. These lovely angels were greatly appreciated. The class 2nd students presented the dance performance “Bhangra Pa Le”. Then the students of class 8th  presented a group song and group dance depicting the theme of vaisakhi. Then small children recited short poems telling the importance of the festival. Then the folk dance Giddha was performed by little girls in a fantastic way which was showing our traditional culture manner. Then S. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri told about the appreciated and encouraged the marvelous performance of the students.
 Principal Amarpreet Kaur addressed the students and said that we should celebrate these festivals with great enthusiasm so that we can teach our young generation about our rich Punjabi culture and heritage.
S. Jasbir Singh and Mrs Amandeep Kaur who were the stage secretaries who performed very well. At the moment Vice Principal Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur, Coordinator Shilpa Sharma, Narinderpal Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Shilpi, Mandeep Kaur, Harbhinder Kaur and all the members of the staff were present there.
