GNDU undergraduate student’s research on Division algorithm and Kronecker’s approximation theorem

Amritsar, July 06, 2020: As researchers and scientists of Guru Nanak Dev University are conducting research under various faculities and contributing in the research scenario of the University. Similarly, being the first undergraduate researcher of the University, Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal has made a remarkable impact in mathematical sciences with his research on Division algorithm and Kronecker’s approximation theorem with an outcome of new insight from number theory.

Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal, an undergraduate student conducted this research with the mentorship of Dr. Jitender Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics. The results of the study conducted are published in a reputed journal, The Journal of Analysis.

Under the stewardship of eminent academician, Vice Chancellor-Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Research and Developmental activities are blooming atpeak thereby shaping GNDU into a prominent center of excellence in Research. Prof. Sandhu congratulated and encouraged the researchers for demonstrating their commitment and talent in the field of mathematical research.
